CBDA
The raw acid form of CBD found in unheated hemp and cannabis.
02 / Definition
What is CBDA?
CBDA (cannabidiolic acid) is the naturally occurring, acidic precursor to CBD present in raw cannabis and hemp. When exposed to heat, it decarboxylates into CBD. Some full-spectrum and “raw” extracts deliberately retain CBDA rather than converting it, so the compound may appear on a product’s certificate of analysis.
