02 / Definition
What is CBD?
CBD (cannabidiol) is one of the most abundant cannabinoids in cannabis and hemp, and unlike THC it is non-intoxicating, meaning it does not produce a “high”. It is commonly sold as oils, tinctures and capsules. In South Africa, certain low-dose CBD products have been excluded from the strictest schedules, subject to SAHPRA rules and concentration limits.
