02 / Definition
What is Flavonoid?
Flavonoids are a large family of plant compounds found in cannabis as well as fruits, vegetables and flowers, where they contribute to pigment, flavour and aroma. In cannabis they are present in smaller amounts than cannabinoids or terpenes but are thought to add to the plant’s overall profile and the entourage effect. They are retained in full-spectrum and broad-spectrum extracts.
