Entourage effect
The idea that cannabis compounds work together, not in isolation.
02 / Definition
What is Entourage effect?
The entourage effect is the theory that cannabinoids, terpenes and other plant compounds interact and complement one another, producing a combined character that differs from any single compound alone. It is the main reasoning behind full-spectrum and broad-spectrum products, which retain a wider range of the plant’s natural compounds. The concept is widely discussed but still the subject of ongoing research.
