01 / HOW TO THINK ABOUT IT
The honest framing.
CBD topicals applied directly to a tight or sore area act locally — the effect, where present, is mild and short-acting. Most people use them as part of a wider routine (stretch, heat, hydration), not as a stand-alone intervention.
Oral CBD for general discomfort follows the same start-low pattern as other wellness use: 10–25 mg, observe for two weeks, decide whether to continue. There is no therapeutic dosing recommendation we can make here — that's a Docto24 conversation.
Persistent, worsening, or post-injury pain is not a CBD-on-Cannabuben question. See a GP or physio for diagnosis; if a clinician decides a therapeutic cannabinoid trial is appropriate, that's the Docto24 Section-21 pathway — different framework, prescriber-led.

03 / WHEN THIS FITS
Three honest scenarios.
▸ DESK-JOB NECK-STIFFNESS
Topical on traps morning + evening. Plus actually getting up from the desk every hour.
▸ LONG-WEEK RECOVERY
A warm shower, balm into shoulders, 10 mg oral with dinner. Boring works.
▸ SOMETHING'S ACTUALLY WRONG
Sharp pain, swelling, can't bear weight, asymmetric? GP or A&E, not the topicals shelf.

05 / COMMON QUESTIONS
What people ask us most.
How is this different from prescription painkillers?
Schedule-0 CBD is a wellness product — it is not a painkiller and we do not market it as one. NSAIDs, paracetamol, and prescription analgesics are clinical tools with established efficacy. CBD's role at OTC doses is mild and adjunctive at best. Can I use CBD topicals on broken skin?
No. Carrier oils and emulsifiers can sting or sensitise broken skin. Use only on intact skin and stop if any rash develops. Why do you keep telling me to see a doctor?
Because Cannabuben sells wellness products, not medicines. If something hurts enough to make you search for relief, a diagnosis is the right first step — then CBD might (or might not) fit into the plan.
06 / WHEN WELLNESS ISN'T ENOUGH
The medical pathway.
SECTION 21 · MEDICAL PATHWAY
Need Section 21 medical cannabis access?
Cannabuben covers consumer wellness CBD under Schedule 0. For prescription-strength cannabinoid access (chronic pain, refractory anxiety, MS spasticity, paediatric epilepsy, etc.) Docto24 is our same-group medical pathway — HPCSA-registered doctors, free initial consultation.
